Media has always been a important part of Team Fallout, and over the past 4 years we have been steady increasing our media presence with features like the photo gallery, live blogging events, and the most recent addition Team Fallout TV. I am proud to announce that we have "hired" a dedicated media person. Austin will be in charge of photography at the events, as well as our two video projects we have going on now. He is travailing with us to Meadowlands, so there should be a lot more media coming out of the event from on our site. I am going to announce a more about our video projects this time next week. |

As many people know Team Fallout traveled to East Texas for a tourney. There were about 25 teams at the tournament. Most of them had never played competitively on LAN, so they were easily 2-0. There were a few good teams, and two teams (Outlaws and Icevayyyyyne) that were on par with us. We ended up taking 3rd Icevayne's team knocked us to the loser bracket, and them Outlaws eliminated us in the LB Finals. Sadly 3rd place didn't receive prize money, but I feel like we got a lot of experience and practice for Meadowlands, and that is the main reason we went. Playing on and off for 14 hours is a beating, and without endurance is near impossible. As in any sport, endurance comes from practice, so I am confident that we can last at MLG with out a problem. The trip was also a great team building experience. I can't wait to go to Meadowlands with these guys, because I know that we are going to place high and have a lot of fun while in New York. In closing I want to thank Jason, and everyone involved for putting on the Tournament. I will be posting some information about our Meadowlands plans soon. |

I've posted the pictures from the LAN on Saturday in the gallery. I would like to thank everyone who came, especially those that helped, setup, tear down, plan, etc... One a different note, the PC LAN was awesome. I forgot to take pictures of the setup, but it was easily the best LAN we have ever had. Both C&C Generals games ended in ties, due to the game crashing due to to many units. It was great fun though. |
