The time of year for finals has come again. So most of my time is spent on the end of year stuff. The good news is that in another week it will be over, and we can focus on LANouT and Columbus. We had to forfeit out of the Columbus PCOQ, due to the end of year chaos. This week I will be writing and posting the LANouT Tournament Rules and Gametypes. This Sat. we will be having a small PC LAN, so I will have to post pictures of that. |

This past weekend we traveled down to Tyler, Tx to compete in a 4v4 tourney. The tournament was at Arena Games LAN center in Tyler. This LAN center was geared towards PCs, but the guys who ran the tourney told me that in the next few months they want to get a full MLG style setup. We will definitely be going to any future Halo 3 tournaments they host. The actual tournament went relatively smoothly. We breezed through our Winners Bracket and didn't drop a game until the WB Finals, when we faced OutLaw's team. We beat them 3-2 and sent them to the Loser Bracket. A few hours later they emerged from LB to face us in the finals. Since we had beaten them before we only had to win 3 games, while they had to win five to take the tourney. We were having problems with objective games that day, and didn't win a single one against OutLaw's team. They also managed to take a very close Construct TS from us. We almost took the tourney on Construct Hill with a 60+ point lead, but they came back to beat us 250-240. So that took it to the final game of Narrows TS. We dug a hole early on, at one point were down by 10 kills. We came back to tie it up around 29 kills, from that point on the game was close, no nether team was ahead by more than 3 kills throughout the game. The ending was very intense. OutLaw's Team was at 48 and we were at 47. Fallout picked up 2 kills to put us one kill away from victory. Unfortunately we couldn't clutch it, so we lost 50-49. It was disappointing, especially sense they only paid first place. But we got more LAN tourney experience, and that is what really matters. |

We have dropped to 7th place out of 104 ranked teams. We are currently 10-3. Unfortunately, due to work schedules, we wont be able to play any more ladder matches until Friday. The ladder ends next week, and we hope to have be within the top five again by that time. Playoffs start next week, and we have a high seed, so expect big things for us in the playoffs. |

The time has come again to compete in the Online Qualifier. We joined the Columbus ladder over the weekend, just in time for the roster lock on Monday. Yesterday Fallout played 5 games, and won all 5. As a result we are now ranked 4th out of the 53 ranked teams. I've posted the team badge on the header of the front page; it will stay there for the duration of the Qualifier. I will post an update of our ladder status through out every week throughout the next month. |
